About
I am a postdoc in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania, where I am also a Penn AI Fellow. Previously, I was a Hans Rademacher Postdoc in Penn’s Mathematics Department, working with Robert Ghrist.
I am interested in geometry, topology and category theory, and their applications to statistics, computer science and mathematical physics. More recently, I have been interested in how large language models reason, especially in the context of mathematics.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Duke University in 2024, advised by Sayan Mukherjee and Ezra Miller. My thesis received the Rudin Prize for Outstanding PhD Dissertation.
I feel very fortunate to have been Sayan’s student. In memory of Sayan (1971–2025).
